Terms of Service

DTB Vault gathers, validates and serves Device Tree files (.dtb, .dtbo and .dts) used in handheld consoles, embedded boards and similar devices. Every upload goes through automatic validation and manual approval before becoming public.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details and for the security of your password. Access is granted only after email verification. Activity performed by your account is your responsibility. Tell the administration if you suspect misuse.

By uploading a file, you declare that you have permission to share it. Only Device Tree related content is allowed.

It is forbidden to upload full firmware, BIOS, ROMs, system images or any material protected by third-party copyright without authorization. Malicious content, files renamed to fool validation, and any attempt to bypass the platform's controls are also forbidden.

The administration may approve, reject, quarantine, mark as duplicate or deprecate any file. It may also remove content at any time, edit metadata and request more information. Approval is not a guarantee of function or compatibility.

You keep the rights you hold over the files you upload. By publishing them, you grant DTB Vault a non-exclusive license to host, validate, display and distribute that content to platform users, within the purpose of the service. You may request removal of your uploads, subject to the moderation rules.

Downloads are controlled and subject to daily limits per user and per IP. Approved contributions can raise those limits. Donations, where offered, unlock convenience and higher limits, never access to exclusive content. Public content stays public for everyone.

Device Tree files affect the boot process and hardware behavior of a device. They are provided as is, without any warranty of function, compatibility or fitness for a particular purpose. Use each file at your own risk, and only if you understand what you are doing. DTB Vault does not guarantee that the content is free of errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DTB Vault and its administration are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the files, including boot failures, data loss or hardware damage. Responsibility for using the content lies with whoever downloads and applies it.

Accounts that violate these terms may be suspended or terminated, with or without prior notice, at the administration's discretion. Malicious attempts, validation fraud and repeated abuse lead to loss of access.

These terms may change as the platform evolves. The update date at the top indicates the current version. Continued use after a change means agreement with the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the administration's domicile are elected to resolve matters arising from the use of the platform, unless the law provides otherwise.
